The UFC has put in a load of promotion for the contest. As stated before, they were coaches on TUF. On yesterday's episode of Monday Night Raw, Chandler called out McGregor for a fight. They are both entertaining fighters, and a showdown would likely be fun. Yet, Chandler isn't getting any younger. So, he should want to fight soon. This is especially true in a packed 155 division with many good matchups.

When looking at potential fights for Chandler there are some exciting options. Only, if the McGregor contest doesn't happen. The first is Alexander Volkanovski. It would be a good fight if the former featherweight champion moves up to lightweight. After Max Holloway fights Justin Gaethje, that could be an exciting matchup. Finally, if you want Chandler in a big-money fight, why not put him against Nate Diaz? There are some excellent fights to choose from; it's only a matter of making them.

Chandler is a great competitor, and it will be great to see him whenever he is back in the Octagon.
