Jamahal Hill will fight Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 300. It is for the UFC Light-Heavyweight title. It looks like an entertaining matchup, as both competitors are fun to watch in the Octagon. It'll be a great way to close out the monumental event. Hill has had a fantastic run in the UFC to date. He won the championship but had to relinquish the belt due to an Achilles injury. The American will look to regain the belt he never lost in April. It will be an exciting fight as both men are good on the feet and have explosive power. It's on UFC 300, so there could be much pressure on both fighters to perform. But, it will likely be a fun fight.

"I got a call Friday, right? Friday said, 'Hey, I need to talk to you. This is the situation,'" Hill said. "The situation was 'We want you and Alex to headline UFC 300' alright. They offered me a bag too, you know. We know you're recovering from this. We have this option, this option, and this option. We prefer you guys to lead with a title fight. So, their other options were not title fights. They were some big name fights they had ready to go. They did have other fights. But, this is the fight they decided to go with."
