Jorge Masvidal is one of the most popular MMA fighters in recent times. The former BMF champion is very popular with MMA fans worldwide. He has come out of retirement and is looking for opportunities in boxing and MMA. Speaking to FanSide MMA, Masvidal spoke about his comeback plans.
Jorge Masvidal Is Coming Back
Masvidal was a mainstay in the UFC for many years and was a global superstar for the promotion. His amazing striking ability has made the American well-known. He is willing to fight anybody. He was the UFC's biggest draw and drew many eyeballs to the product. Now that he has come out of retirement, seeing what he does next will be interesting. Masvidal says he is coming back, when speaking to FanSide MMA.
"I'm unretired, I'm going to hurt some people, and I'm going to box this year," Masvidal said. "I want to get in the best shape possible, get in that cage again, and give it all. I can't go out on a f***ing L, either. The more about it, the more it hurts and haunts me, so I'm coming back to rearrange someone's face, or faces."
He Wants A Boxing Fight
Masvidal went on to say he is looking for boxing matches. Yet, he is open to an MMA return.
"The UFC would have to call me for that and work out a handsome deal. But for now, my mind is more on boxing; I'm not looking to do MMA immediately," Masvidal clarified. "Would I do it? Of course, I love it; it's my favourite thing in the world. But for right now, I want to do some boxing before I even think about doing MMA."
