Louis Rees-Zammit has taken the rugby world by storm since his arrival with Gloucester. Known for his sensational speed, the Welshman is one of the more valuable players in the game today. He would be a massive asset to any team fortunate enough to get him. There has been a rumour going around that he is heading to France. The Rugby Paper has reported that two French clubs may have interest in the young winger.

Rees-Zammit is a superstar in the making, and it is clear why. He finds the try line very often for club and country. Rees-Zammit is one of the quickest players in the game and can outpace any defender in the world. The winger became very well known when he made his international debut in October 2022. The Welshman has become one of his country’s more prominent names. Rees-Zammit has 32 international caps and was the youngest British and Irish Lion in over 50 years. It is no surprise that he is on the list for many clubs around the world.

Rees-Zammit is playing his rugby in Gloucester and has played well in Kingsholm. The teams who may have interest in Rees-Zammit are Bordeaux and Montpellier. In the past, many players have made the move across the channel. Players like Dan Biggar, Thomas Francis, and Will Rowlands have gone to France. A player like Rees-Zammit will likely attract a lot of money due to his scoring ability. Luckily for Wales, the 22-year-old has 32 caps, so they don’t have to worry about the 25-cap rule.

Rees-Zammit is one of many Welsh stars who may be heading to France. French club Provence may have interest in George North.
