Michael Page will make his UFC debut at UFC 299 on March 9th. He will take on Kevin Holland in an epic welterweight clash. Page had a great run with Bellator and even challenged for a championship. It looks like a great fight with big things in store for the winner.

The Entertaining Michael Page

Page has been one of the most well-known fighters outside the UFC for a while now. The Englishman made his name producing sensational knockouts in Bellator. Page has a professional record of 21-2 with 16 finishes. His incredible striking ability is well-known, and he can knock out his opponents. Page will look to follow in Michael Chandler's footsteps. Chandler jumped between the two companies.

Fan Favourite Kevin Holland

Holland has cemented himself as a fan favourite. He has achieved this with many outstanding performances inside the Octagon. His fights with Stephen Thompson, Santiago Ponzinibbio, and Tim Means were great. Holland has always been fantastic on the feet. Yet, he has always struggled when it comes to defending takedowns. He has looked a lot better since moving down from middleweight to welterweight. He agreed to keep the fight on his feet in his battle with Thompson.

Page’s Thoughts On Fight

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Page said Holland won't want to keep it striking.

"I know for a fact Kevin Holland is not going to want to do that agreement again after the whooping he took against Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson," Page said. "I see myself as the faster, harder-hitting, more dangerous version of a 'Wonderboy' Thompson.

"He's not going to want to do that again. I'm happy to take that deal. If he wants to shake my hand and do that, we can do that," Page continued. "But he's going to want to. He will want to utilise as much as possible to deal with me."
