Who are Top Five Quarterbacks Going into 2021

1.       Patrick Mahomes

This one is the obvious choice for number because in my opinion Mahomes is the hands down best quarterback in the NFL right now. I say this because if you wanted anyone behind the centre on a Sunday you would want the former MVP. I think the super bowl raised Mahomes stock because it really showed his toughness and his will to win. I think that he will have a chip on his shoulder because of the Superbowl which means he wants to prove that he is one of the best to ever do it.

2.       Aaron Rodgers

The 2020 MVP was in a league of his own last season and what made even more impressive is that really, he only had one top quality receiver to throw too. Another factor that probably played into Rodgers’s form is Jordan Love being drafted in the 1st. In Rodgers’ eyes it could as Love is a threat to his position this could have resulted in Rodgers upping his game a little bit. This year he will be trying to get a ring after the disappointing loss to Brady’s Bucs in divisional championship game.

3.       Deshaun Watson

With everything going on with Watson off the field it is easy to forget how good he really is when comes to actually throwing the football. Every who knows anything about the game of American football will know about Watson ability to escape pressure in the pocket. That skill never came more in handy last season with the Texans offensive line being next to nothing. This force to show how good he with make the major of the games to being close then they had right be. Sadly, next season does not look to be any better with there being no major signings for the teams and their top receiver leaving. But when it comes to individual skill Watson is one of the best.

4.       Josh Allen

Allen was probably the most improve player from last season with his improvements help the Bills steam roll the AFC south and get to the divisional championship. The weapons he had to throw to are no scrubs with Diggs and Beasley. With Allen development looking up I would not be surprised if his name was in the MVP conversation next year.

5.    Russell Wilson

Wilson had a strong start to the 2020 season however he kind of drop out of the MVP conversation however with the receivers coming into their owns with especially DK Metcalf making a massive step from his rookie year. With Lockett being a great weapon for Wilson to throw too. With everything that has gone on in the offseason if the hawks improve their offensive line Wilson could finally get that MVP vote that he never got.
