The NFL preseason is right around the corner as the excitement builds for another football season. Many fans will ponder what the teams will look like in the new year. One franchise that will be interesting to watch is the Miami Dolphins. The team made it to the playoffs last year, but there are still a lot of questions about Mike McDaniel's team. Key players on the roster must step up if Miami wants to go all the way.

Tua Tagovailoa is a top-10 quarterback in the league today. The Hawaii native has developed into a quality player. Tagovailoa's game has improved drastically since the arrival of McDaniel after Brian Flores departed the franchise. The quarterback has recently signed a four-year extension with the Dolphins. Quarterbacks often have pressure on them as they have to unlock the offense. Tagovailoa thrives in the offense as he can make quick reads and get the ball out fast. If Miami wants a good season, Tagovailoa must be at his best. Furthermore, the franchise's success will rely on Tagovailoa remaining healthy because they have a good chance of winning when he is fit.

The Cheetah has been the catalyst for the offense. Hill is a big reason why the Dolphins' offense is elite. He has a good connection with Tagovailoa and has racked up many receiving yards for Miami. His speed makes Hill a nightmare to defend for secondaries around the league, and he makes game-changing plays at crunch time. Hill is a phenomenal player who demands any defender's attention, which means he is usually double-teamed. However, this isn't all bad news because it allows other wideouts, such as Jaylen Waddle, to get open for completion. Hill knows what it's like to be a champion, and he will feel there is a chance for another Super Bowl ring.

Miami let go of a lot of solid defensive players in the off-season. It means that they will be relying on the likes of Sieler to generate a pass rush, especially after letting go of Christian Wilkins. Sieler has had a couple of decent seasons in Miami. In 2023, the 28-year-old secured ten sacks and an interception. However, the best part of his game is how he can stop the run and make game-changing tackles. Sieler will want to prove that it wasn't just Wilkins who could get to the quarterback. He will be a key player on the defensive side for the franchise this season.

The Dolphins have all the tools to succeed this year, and it's all about everybody stepping up and doing their jobs.
