Preview and key information: As Tyson Fury takes on Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tyson Fury will return to the ring for the first time since April against Derek Chisora in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this coming Saturday.

These two fighters have met twice previously with Fury coming out on top in a dominant fashion both times they fought.

Fury is coming off his latest title defends against Dillian Whyte where he knocked out his opponent in the sixth round when they met at Wembley.

Whereas Chisora is coming off a victory against Kubrat Pulev where he won by split decision back in July which put him in this upcoming fight.

The WBC heavyweight title will be on the line this coming Saturday as Fury takes on Chisora. On paper this should be an easy defence for Fury. Yet, in the heavyweight division everybody has the opportunity to cause an upset. The reason for this is that one punch could end any fight. However, when you look at how the fight could matchup it’s hard to see the undefeated champion losing. This can be seen when you look at Fury’s most recent win against Whyte. It shows how good he is at keeping a fighter at length. The result of this was Whyte being knocked out in the sixth round. Which suggests that Chisora is going to struggle as he has a similar height and reach to Whyte.

The two fighters have met twice before with Fury being victorious both times. The first time they met was back in July 2011 in the Wembley Arena. The result on that night was a unanimous decision victory for Fury. The second time they met was three years later in November 2014 at the ExCel Arena in Dockland. This time round Fury stopped Chisora in the tenth round of the fight.

Their second meeting.

It’s interesting to see how the fighters’ careers have gone since those two fights. Fury went on to beat Wladimir Klitschko for the world title. He also had great fights with the likes of Deontay Wilder. Chisora on the other hand has had a up and down career since Fury gave him his first loss. He has fought all the big names in the heavyweight division but always came up short.

If Fury wins, a unification with Oleksandr Usyk would make the most sense. If Chisora loses he risks being booted out of the title picture forever.

Talks with Usyk’s team are already going on

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren on the future.

"Usyk is the fight we want."
