Usman, a seasoned professional, shares his perspective on Ngannou's situation. "When he feels ready, we'll have a conversation," Usman said. "My advice for him would be to take his time. As professionals, we understand the urge to bounce back immediately after a loss. But, waiting for the right moment is crucial. Ngannou, like us, knows his clock, time, and capabilities. He will make the right decision."

When a fighter loses, he usually wants to make a quick turnaround to try and correct the loss. Yet, Usman preached patience.

"So, take your time. You don't need to rush back. As competitors, as professionals, we want it back ASAP," Usman explained. We want to get that back in our blood as soon as possible. We lose, and we don't like to wallow in that feeling of a loss. We don't like to be defeated, so we want to get it back right away and get back in the win column."
