There is always a lot of excitement in the NFL off-season, as many people expect a great year to come. Yet, people in a franchise always have a lot to prove in the new season. In 2024, many teams will be looking to prove the doubters wrong. Yet, three franchises in particular need to have great seasons. Now that we are entering a new season, it's time to look at what teams have the most pressure on them going into 2024.

There was a lot of hype for the Jaguars going into the 2023 season; this was after a successful playoff run in 2022. It looked like they got their guy in quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and they had a bright future ahead of them. Yet, they finished 2023 with a record of 9-8 and failed to make the playoffs. The team has a great quarterback in Lawrence. The front office is under pressure to get him great offensive weapons. They have some excellent players. For example, Christian Kirk and Gabriel Davis. Yet, they need a true number-one receiver. The front office should be looking to get critical playmakers for Lawrence. There will also be a lot of pressure on the team to perform better in general as they didn’t make the playoffs in 2023.

The expectations for the Jets going into 2023 were immense. They made a blockbuster trade for Aaron Rodgers in the off-season. The future Hall of Famer quarterback got injured in the first game. This left the team at a huge disadvantage. The first question for 2024 is what Rogers will be like coming off the Achilles injury. He is at the back end of his career, and it is difficult for anybody to recover from an injury like that. It will be interesting to see how he looks in September. The franchise has gone all in on the season. They signed players like Mike Williams and traded for Haasson Reddick. New York has all they need to succeed this season. Yet, if they don't do well, there will be many questions asked of the team.

The Dallas Cowboys have had immense talent for years. The team haven't made an impact in the postseason. They have the potential to compete for the Lombardi Trophy, but the lack of results could pose a problem. The team's chance for championships could close soon. Key players, like Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons, could be seeking new contracts. This makes the current season a crucial opportunity for the team to go after a title. The Cowboys will be one of the favourites to win a Super Bowl ring in 2024. Each team will look for a big year and prove all their doubters wrong.
