Speaking to ESPN's Stephen Holder, Richardson said he is raring to go in 2024.

"I've never waited this long to get back to playing football," Richardson told Holder. "I'm on a mission this year. Once that mission's complete, then I'll be good."

It will be fascinating to see how Richardson performs after missing a large part of his rookie year. The first couple of years are crucial to a young quarterback's development. It will be interesting to see how Richardson leads a team next year and how he responds to missing his rookie year.

"People didn't get to see everything I could do on the field," he told Holder. "So, it's still like a rookie season for me. But now I've gained much more knowledge and understanding about football and the NFL. So, I'm a rookie at heart, but now I'm slowly becoming the leader my team needs me to be. I'm ready for every opportunity that's in front of me."
